Taking a deep breath he starts to tell her about the Nexus. How it's a convergence of realities - time, space, alternates universes, real and unreal, all collide here. He tries to prepare her for the fact she will probably run into an alternate of herself here. He explains that there are at least two others of him here, one of whom he's met.
When he finishes speaking he puts the second steak on her plate.
